On behalf of the ASBI Board of Directors, I am glad you have made the decision to enhance your professional development by renewing your Certified Grouting Technician designation or your Grouting Training Certificate.

Qualifications to Recertify as a Certified Grouting Technician

1. Complete the 2008 Recertification Application Form
2. Provide verifiable docu­mentation of an additional 1½ years of experience in construction of grouted post-tensioned structures
3. Mail the examination fee of $300.00 payable to ASBI, 9201 N. 25th Avenue, Suite 150-B, Phoenix, AZ 85021
4. Receive your username and passkey from the ASBI Office
5. Complete and pass the Internet-based examination

Florida DOT Construction Training and Qualification Program (CTQP)
By recertifying your Certified Grouting Technician certificate you continue to qualify for the FDOT Level II CTQP. The Level II CTQP is required for Contractor's grouting crew foreman.

Qualifications to Renew Your 2003 Training Certificate

1. Complete the 2008 Application Form
2. Mail the examination fee of $300.00 payable to ASBI, 9201 N. 25th Avenue, Suite 150-B, Phoenix, AZ 85021
3. Receive your username and passkey from the ASBI Office
4. Complete and pass the Internet-based examination

Florida DOT Construction Training and Qualification Program (CTQP)
By renewing your ASBI Grouting Training Certificate you continue to qualify for the FDOT Level I CTQP. The Level I CTQP is required for CEI inspectors as well as Contractor grouting crew workers.

Examination Format and Timeline
The on-line examination consists of 50 questions. You will have one hour to complete the on-line examination. If you leave the exam site before you complete the test, you will lose all test answers. Upon completion of a passing grade (70%) you are able to print your new certificate valid until 2013. If you do not meet the 70% requirement or end the exam before it is completed, you are allowed to take the exam two additional times. The deadline to successfully complete the exam is December 31, 2008. If you miss this deadline, you will have to reapply in 2009.
